Due to significant differences in the manufacturing processes of mold bases and core mold components like cavities, specialization has become the industry norm. Mold manufacturers typically purchase mold bases from specialized mold base manufacturers to leverage the strengths of both parties, thereby improving overall quality and efficiency.

Currently, die-casting mold bases are highly standardized. With a wide variety of standard designs and rapid delivery times, they offer mold manufacturers greater flexibility and shorter production cycles, making their application increasingly widespread. Their precision requirements are categorized into multiple levels to meet the production needs of a wide range of high-volume products, from automotive and aerospace to household appliances and medical devices.
